New Project Post: Children's Book about BUGS!
I am having fun working on the book project about BUGS! At first glance the
project subject intimidated me, because I had never drawn bugs before. But I am
growing increasingly more pleased with the outcome the further along I get in the
project. Who knew bugs would be so much fun!
ILLUSTRATION INSPIRATION: Charles Santoso
This week's Illustration Inspiration comes from Australian concept artist and
Illustrator, Charles Santoso. I was originally drawn to his 'Into the Wonderland
of Books' Series. His whimsical style and great color play was an immediate
sell for me. Than upon deeper investigation, Charles's sketches were my favorite
among his vast and beautiful works. I really adored the fishing boy and all
of the "Spunk" in the drawings. Thanks for the Inspiration Charles.

Recent Meant for a Moment Project (Fairy Tale for Adults)
Ever wonder what I am up to?
One of my recent projects has been really fun, because I got to create a fairy
tale for adults. {dreamy}
Each character in the book played a very specific role so we opted for a profile
type illustration in black and white ink. I have included some of my favorites
above to show you a peak but there are more, like a wise judge and of corse
the princess!
This project was so much fun {!} I can't wait to see it printed, I will post a
link when its ready.
