The following is a true story...
{ True Story }
When we were young my dad made up a lot of tales. At one point in my life I thought it was to keep us entertained... The older I get, the more I realize {it was really} to keep himself entertained. He was lucky enough to have an audience of three young, gullible daughters soaking in his stories like a sponge.
One afternoon he told us the story of "Falling Rock", the indian boy who went on a vision quest and never came back. His tribe was heartbroken and still looks for him today, and have posted signs that say "Watch for falling Rock"... hoping someone will guide him home.
My sisters and I were old enough at this point to know this was a just a story... or so I thought.
Years later, my younger sister, about 9 at the time, passes a falling rock sign and says {serious as can be} "Man, When are they ever going to find falling rock!"

The Prom is taking place at the B&O Museum, so we went with a train ticket feel...

My project for the day... Color Color Color. I just finished these three commissioned drawings, now it is time to move on to the color part. My reward for finishing these... a run outside in the 60 degree day! Hows that for motivation!

Hot off the press...
Bridal shower invitations that included a Caricature of the Ice Skating Bride, Coupled with a Caricature of groom and bride to be printed on glasses for wedding favors. This was a fun project!

On a brighter note {Its FRIDAY!}
I wouldn't dare leave you in Melancholy my lovlies!... Just one last post before I start my weekend! Lets get it kicked off on the right note! Climbing trees! I heard a rumor that the sun will come out for the weekend... { Mother nature you wouldn't tease me would you?! } Here is a recent project of mine, it is a commissioned piece for three best friends. They used to climb trees when they were younger... lets get ourselves up in a tree this weekend!
