Pretty Awesome Paper Flower Bouquets.

I have always thought fresh flowers provided a specific special something that oozed delightfulness.
But what do you think about paper flower bouquets? They never die, droop or fade.
And look how exquisite One Happy Girl from etsy can custom make them.

How lovely. I think I am still a fresh flower girl, but imagine an indoor crafty wedding with lots of paper flowers everywhere and pennant banners and adorableness spread everywhere. Can you see it?

I think I could get into that.

Wednesday

Letterhead design

Its been fun working with Real Estate, agent Karol Hess
We have worked on quite a few projects together for both her business promotion and personal pleasure.
Above is the letter head design I created for her, she calls herself Karol with a "K" thus explaining the giant K. And it just so happens to mesh nicely with the fact that she works for Keller Williams.
What do you think?
We also used the same illustration in her business card design and she was able to utilize her illustration in an advertisement as well. Way to go Karol!

Tuesday

a dose of L-O-V-E

“I come here with no expectations, only to profess, now I am at the liberty to do so, that my heart is and will always be yours.”
– Jane Austen (Sense and Sensibility)

“…a purpose of human life, no matter who is controlling it, is to love whoever is around to be loved” – Kurt Vonnegut (Cat’s Cradle)

Because we all need a little sometimes...

good idea right?

Kind of cute right?!

Monday

Kind of a good idea...

I am always squirreling away ideas for a wedding if one should ever pop up and don't you just LOVE this one? Dave and I have always just assumed we would get hitched by the water,
wouldn't these add a nice glow to the nights dreamy adventure!?

Vacation!

Dreaming of a vacation. I think a trip to Colmar, France would do me just fine.
Look at the color of those houses and that sky... oh take me there!

Friday

The Royal Wedding!

Today is the Day!

So, we have been waiting for today forever!
The news has been filled with speculation about what it would look like and this morning I woke up to these images of Kate's Wedding Dress! My first reaction was that it was too much and it over whelmed her. But upon further examination of the details I totally love it!
Look at those pretty lace sleeves and the detail on her veil. Isn't her waistline so tiny? I also love that her dress is so fancy and her flowers are so simple. I think it say a lot about the bride.

And I love the red military uniform that William wore. That color is so striking.

Gosh I love weddings. What a wonderful thing for the world to be able to focus on.
It is a rare occasion that the world can turn their eyes to one event that is celebratory and joyous.

Going to a wedding...

I am heading to a wedding in Charleston this month and I am in search of a DRESS.
It is going to be an outdoor wedding with croquet and bocci ball, but pretty nice.
I am thinking of going with a shorter dress with a stellar wide brimmed hat! What are your thoughts?

I found this site Lulus with TONS of dresses to choose from. I like these and they even
have a vintage collection, which is quite cute.

Thursday

Go ahead...

Just make one...

Don't you love these wish tickets?!
Wouldn't they be cute at a little girls birthday party?

Wednesday

Cute kids fashion... or not?

I know. So cute right?
I am wondering whether its "So cute" or "So weird" what are your thoughts on this flower hat?

Monday

My weekend was great, how was yours?

This weekend was Kammi's Birthday, so I headed up to Harrisburg to dine with a great group of girls.
We feasted on Indian Cuisine and than stuffed ourselves further with cake...
Yes it was as good as it looked.

Sunday morning I woke up to Easter. We headed to my cousin's new adorable house for a really fabulous brunch with Mimosas and monkey bread (yum).
And look who was there.... Baby Bodhe!

And Sunday evening we feasted further on a delicious Easter ham...
Oh those deviled eggs... yum yum yum!

And I think its so funny that my mom dyed these eggs by herself...
I keep smiling to myself about it because I think its so funny.

My Windows down Radio up Playlist...

This weekend I headed up to see my friend Kammi for her Birthday...
It would be a two hour ride so I created a little playlist for the road.

I was syked to see Brett Dennen had just released an album (which rocks) so I naturally added a few of his new songs to the mix. I discovered I loved the song "Tiny Light" by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and of corse I added some Avett Brothers "Head full of Doubt" Amos Lee made a strong showing with a couple songs from his new album Mission Bell. Ray LaMontange graced the list with "For the Summer"... and at the last minute I even threw some Elton John in there (because he is amazing)

I rode the entire way with the windows down and the music up loud. It was just as a spring day should be... What are your favorite road trip singers?

ballerina dress

I love the back of this dress...xox

An apple a day...

These little fruit post-its are doing a great job of making work fun.
Wouldn't it be cute to gift these to the office at Christmas time? I know my dad always got boxes of fresh pears from a client of his... wouldn't it spice things up a little to offer these post-it fruits?

Monday

Love this idea...

Love this idea, don't you?
Recycled vintage boxes turned into stairs... I wonder if crafty Dave could manage this for me...
Its kind of a space saver too wouldn't you say?
Imagine how cute a little iron railing would be with that...oh my!

Plush Taxidermy...

New Trend?
Wouldn't this be cute on a little boys wall who was just starting to hunt?
