Pet Hammock!

Oh my goodness me. This pet hammock has me and

 Cricket dreaming of a Sunday afternoon together

 relaxing by an open window... me sipping lemonade, 

and her paws twitching from a puppy dream. 

Like that ever happens over here. Relaxing afternoons 

often include drawing, painting ( which although I 

enjoy, the level of relaxation is questionable because

 it is usually work related) or just sheer exhaustion 

(for shame on me). Thats it, I am getting some lemons

 this afternoon!

Custom Coffee Mug

I recently had the pleasure to work on a custom

 illustration that we than applied to a coffee mug. {Pretty cool right?}

It turned out adorable. Thanks Vee! You were so much fun to work with. 

Failed Inventions.

How sweet. Better than a Milkshake. Right?

There are no words.

This morning, I thought I would provide with some

laughs thanks to these silly "Failed Inventions" 

originally featured by Life Magazine 

but collected by, Live Journal. 

It originally caught my eye because one of them 

looked like an electric-stand-up paddle board. 

And I believe that with the popularity of the 

Stand-up paddle board, the electric board may 

actually receive an enthusiastic following right now. 

{As for the other inventions...I'd say, definite fail} 

My personal favorite is the baby window box...What? 

Seriously. And the cigarette tree? Don't you love

 how the photograph shows the woman studiously

 sitting at a desk, taking phone calls while piping 

away. Wouldn't that make you so sick. Yikes!

Oliver Dean Designs...not for every dog

My sister started the most adorable accessory 

line for dogs called "Oliver Dean Designs"

and I am in LOVE with both her designs and her dog.

She makes Bow-ties, Bandanas and Bows that easily

 attach to your dogs collar and stay there, no matter 

how active they are. 

She makes them all by hand 

and offers them on all sorts of different fabric options! Including seersucker {xox}

Doesn't her cute little pup look dapper in his bow-tie?

I particularly appreciate her tag line; 'not for every dog'

Chalk board table... Fun for everyone!

Don't you love this Chalk board table top I found originally posted by Puregreen Design?!

I  think you could easily turn this into a DIY with an old table, some chalkboard paint and some TLC. 

Maybe one day!

Sail Bags for Sale

These cute Nautical Bags from Reiter8 are made out of retired sails. 

I am really drawn to that adorable anchor tote. 

But think the J-bag would a great gift for a Jimmy or Jane. 

You know there are a bunch of different boats referred 

to as "J-Boats" and that bag came from one of their sails.

On Tuesday nights in Annapolis over 30 J-22's race on the bay. 

Are you as Excited?

Jeff Daniel's wrote a Song entitled, "Are you as Excited" 

and the lyrics are amazing. They are actually much 

more thoughtful than this quote would let on, 

but this was the hook of this song and it is irresistible. 

I was jogging this weekend, soaking in his lyrics

 like a sponge and I just had to work up something

 with this line, it was too good to pass. 

Don't you feel this way sometimes?

Like you have such great news or something 

really great is going on and you are dying to 

tell SOMEONE who cares but no one seems to 

share the same enthusiasm? I, being an extremely 

enthusiastic person, seem to suffer from this issue 

often and the lyrics made me giggle...

So enjoy.

In my Imaginary Closet

This adorable breezy little top from Zara makes me 

want to hop in the car (preferably an old-school VW 

beetle convertible) and head straight to the beach 

with a good book and my sweet little dog. {xox}

If I were to add these little peep toe pretties from lulus,

perhaps I would take a stroll along the boardwalk too...

And this bag from Liberty London would be just

 big enough to pack everything, Cricket and I need for the day.

Oh wouldn't it be nice... Life is but a Dream.

And that skirt!

I am not sure whether I wish I was taller or that I had room for another back pack,

 I can't choose between the two.

Meant for a Moment Designs recently created a custom stationary set for a Bride and Groom who had a casual Eastern Shore Style wedding. They were looking for unique Thank you cards to send out after  their wedding so we created these Thank You's using the back drop of their wedding sight.

What? Ray-Bans fold now? I am not sure whether this is is totally awesome or just a gimmick

but I can definitely think of moments when tiny sunglasses would do much better than those 

big ones I carry around.

Wouldn't these make a great Father's Day gift? 

I know Dad's love a good practical present and these have practical written all over them... with a little indulgent sprinkled on the top which makes the giving of them all that sweeter.

Transform your Dad's Pockets

Does your dad have one of those wallets that is falling to bits and pieces? Or is it so thick that it looks like his bum is about four inches asymmetrical and he is starting to limp?! Maybe he may appreciate one of these beautiful personalized money clips from the Taffy Box. 

My dad ditched his wallet bought a beautiful clip out west about ten years ago and never turned back...
