Oh My Gosh... This is so Perfect
I just found this on Etsy and burst out laughing!
If ANYone has ever been on a boat with me. Be it wind or gas powered they would know...
this is exactly what it is like for me on a boat. I feel an overwhelming desire to purchase this for myself.
Where is Dave when you need him, some body come over and laugh about this with me!
A family is born...
I found this amazing photographic tree that spans almost 30 years over at Marvelous Kiddo.
I am inspired to start my own. Look at the children growing up, isn't that unreal?
It would be kind of funny to see one created of me because I change my hair color so much.
And I think Dave would remain just as consistent as the father here...
same facial hair and hair cut since 1976. How funny.
Tuesday
Just a start...
I am working on a wedding package for a Garden themed wedding
and I am putting my watercolors to use once more!
Here is a taste of what my watercolor pad looks like at the end of a painting session.
I have big plans for this little guys ~ stay tuned!
Take two
Check out these Re-Takes of our favorite iconic images.
Wouldn't it be fun to remake a photo or image from 50 years ago? The era, the atmosphere,
the confidence in the women being capture are all breathtaking.
Can you imagine what it would be like being an American Icon?
I think some of these young Hollywood stars are on their way, aren't they beautiful?
I love Rosey up there... those eyebrows (grrr!) love it!
Monday
Street Art in Crumbles
These portraits have been CRAVED out of the walls of these buildings by artist, Alexandre Farto.
He scratched and carved each large scale portrait into the walls of abandoned buildings.
Aren't they striking? Almost haunting aren't they? I am amazed at how much detail he can capture
amongst the crumbles...what do you think about? Vandalization or Art?
Infinity Scarf...{xox}
Isn't there something wonderful and fresh about this scarf?
I have been looking for a scarf to wear on those cool spring evenings and this
one from etsy totally takes the cake.
Sunday
Wooden Toys!
Look at these spectacular mobiles from The Wooden Wagon.
Their entire site is filled with wonderful wooden toys for children. (Wooden, not plastic. I dig)
Dave and I recently bought his nephew this Wobbly Stacking Tower:
from their site where I became so enamored with their wooden toys I could have ordered an entire
truck-load for myself! Aren't the colors fabulous?
I just love it... and have you seen their puzzles?
Wednesday

Make-Up Magnet Board
I have just stumbled upon something that will make you all jump for joy! Because the organization of your vanity lies before you and there is just one fun craft project standing in your way. Laura, from Laura Thoughts developed this fun DIY: Check it out its a Magnet Make-up Board!
I feel like this will mitigate a lot of digging and broken eyeshadows for me.
Wouldn't this save some room on your vanity or give your more ever so desirable drawer space for... more make up... ha I mean you see where I am going here right?
Monday
May I introduce the ink society...
I loved this print by The Ink Society so much it prompted me to check out their etsy store... where I found a whole bunch of delightful prints that I could not resist! Check them out. Don't you love the colors? That see horse would be perfect on a crispy white wall!
Friday
Happy Mother's Day!
Sunday is Mother's Day. {Hi Mom}
What special something are you doing for your mom to celebrate how wonderful she is?
My younger sister and I have decided to collaborate on a meal together. I think it is going to be a light pasta and shrimp dish with some fresh veggies tossed in a light lemon and olive oil sauce... yum.
My little sister and my mom showin' some love {xox}
Happy Mother's Day Mom. You are Amazing. And I love You.
Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one mother the wide world over.

Save the Date Postcards
I worked with some friends of mine to create these special Save the Dates.
The water colors were all original and since they were getting married in the fall we chose fall "fruits"
It was the brides idea to use the fall items in the shape of the numbers for the dates...
what a clever girl.
TIP:
Choosing a post card option is a simple and inexpensive way to send your save the dates.
Often your Envelopes and stamps are the bulk of the cost and to cut them out completely takes a great burden from the total.
Pretty Awesome Paper Flower Bouquets.
I have always thought fresh flowers provided a specific special something that oozed delightfulness.
But what do you think about paper flower bouquets? They never die, droop or fade.
And look how exquisite One Happy Girl from etsy can custom make them.
How lovely. I think I am still a fresh flower girl, but imagine an indoor crafty wedding with lots of paper flowers everywhere and pennant banners and adorableness spread everywhere. Can you see it?
I think I could get into that.
Wednesday
Letterhead design
Its been fun working with Real Estate, agent Karol Hess.
We have worked on quite a few projects together for both her business promotion and personal pleasure.
Above is the letter head design I created for her, she calls herself Karol with a "K" thus explaining the giant K. And it just so happens to mesh nicely with the fact that she works for Keller Williams.
What do you think?
We also used the same illustration in her business card design and she was able to utilize her illustration in an advertisement as well. Way to go Karol!
Tuesday
a dose of L-O-V-E
“I come here with no expectations, only to profess, now I am at the liberty to do so, that my heart is and will always be yours.”
– Jane Austen (Sense and Sensibility)
“…a purpose of human life, no matter who is controlling it, is to love whoever is around to be loved” – Kurt Vonnegut (Cat’s Cradle)
Because we all need a little sometimes...

Monday
Kind of a good idea...
I am always squirreling away ideas for a wedding if one should ever pop up and don't you just LOVE this one? Dave and I have always just assumed we would get hitched by the water,
wouldn't these add a nice glow to the nights dreamy adventure!?
Vacation!
Dreaming of a vacation. I think a trip to Colmar, France would do me just fine.
Look at the color of those houses and that sky... oh take me there!
