Friday

Lovely weekend wishes...

I bid you ado for another weekend { hooray for sunny days }. We will be working on the boat this weekend to get her ready to race next weekend. I will be refinishing some furniture, one of my favorite type of projects, and then we will head to a little party in the woods...

I am looking forward to relaxing and catching up with my paintbrush...

Inspiration by Me...

Expose yourself to a lie, so you know how important the truth is.

Expose yourself to a great cup of coffee and you might just want another.

Expose yourself to a pair of comfortable shoes and you will never wear heels again.

Expose yourself to hope and you will believe that anything can happen.

Expose yourself to getting stuck in the rain on a cold night, and you will always give your change to the homeless.

Expose yourself Italy, and you will want to move there... immediately.

Expose yourself to chance and you may change your life forever.

Expose yourself to someone rude, and it may remind you to be polite.

Expose yourself to rotten milk, and you will always check the label.

Expose yourself to a stranger and you may have just met a friend.

Expose yourself to understanding, and you will not judge so quickly.

Expose yourself to embarrassingly uncontrollable laughter... and you will like it.

Expose yourself to the world, but keep a little for yourself.

Expose yourself to the truth and you may have wished you hadn't.

Expose yourself to wanting more and you will never be satisfied.

Expose yourself to something real, and you will gain a real perspective

Expose yourself to yourself and may it be a long conversation

Inspiration by Seth Godin

Expose yourself...

With so many options in media, interaction and venues, you now get to choose what you expose yourself to.
Expose yourself to art, and you'll come to appreciate it and aspire to make it.
Expose yourself to anonymous scathing critics and you will begin to believe them (or flinch in anticipation of their next appearance.)
Expose yourself to get-rich-quick stories and you'll want to become one.
Expose yourself to fast food ads and you'll crave french fries.
Expose yourself to angry mobs of uninformed, easily manipulated protesters and you'll want to join a mob.
Expose yourself to metrics about your brand or business or performance and you'll work to improve them.
Expose yourself to anger and you might get angry too.
Expose yourself to people making smart decisions and you'll probably learn how to do it as well.
Expose yourself to eager long-term investors (of every kind) and you'll likely to start making what they want to support.
It's a choice if you want it to be.

Love is in the Air

Everywhere I go this spring, I see little duck couples together. Courting each other? I'd like to think so.

Something cool, ice cool...

I discovered someone very clever this weekend... Look at this adirondack chair, its made of skis! They are the perfect shape to make this chair, I wonder why I haven't seen it before. Unfortunately I do not know the person who owned this chair, as I slyly photographed it out of their yard and they were not home, but who ever you are, BRAVO.

Tuesday

Because you are...

Sometimes a photo comes along and it must be shared. I found this via Design Love Fest.
I love this photo. I imagine about a hundred different stories about why it was created...and they each get increasingly more romantic and elaborate the more I allow my mind to wonder.
So Readers, REMEMBER { You ARE Beautiful }

Monday

Cheese

I think it is important that every party from here on out has some of these by, Le Papier
So essential!
Just put them in front of your face and say cheese!

Pencil tip carvings...

Yes friends, its true... these carvings are made from the graphite at the tip of a pencil... and are just as teeny too. Incredibly impressive... the shoe looks so natural perched up there in the pencil you'd think some one placed it there... The artist, Dalton Ghetti has been carving teeny, tiny pencil tip sculptures for 25 years

Banana PEEL..

Matt Roussel's 3D print Banana is helping me crack a smile this Monday morning! I hope it does the same little trick for you. Looks like he had some funky banana peel shoes too. How was your weekend? Mine was spectacular! Dave and I ran a half Marathon, I transformed an old vintage window into a table and we got the boat out for the first time this year... It was a great restful weekend! Here hoping for a good week!

Simply True... Keep on dreaming
