Friday

These tops have an attitude don't they?

Arn't these some funky tops for spring? Kind of bad a@* but feminine at the same time...
I dig em' what do you think?
they are from the online shop: I don't like Mondays and there is plenty more where that came from.

Oh this makes me want to watch the movie for a tenth time...

"General opinion makes out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, I don’t see that. Seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it’s not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it’s always there. Fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, none of the phone calls from people on board were messages of hate or revenge, they were all messages of love. lf you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love actually is all around."
Happy Friday Everyone {xox}

Jewelry I want to touch...

I just stumbled upon this beautiful jewelry... {!}
I wish I could scoop up the entire collection. And I have this over whelming urge to touch it all. (weird?)
Sayagdis creates each unique piece from vintage beads and broaches.

Brides...wouldn't that white one make an adorable bridal necklace?
You know, I think I love that colorful one on the bottom the best... I think it would be cute with your white dress too!

Lovin on some old beauties...

So as you may have figured out by some posts of my home I have developed a true love for antiques and anything that looks like it has a good story behind it. And Etsy is FULL of great finds for such things. Like this shop 86 for the home featuring some of the most beautiful wooden furniture.
Drooling over that chair...
and isn't that bike so cool... I am trying to think on how you could reuse that and turn in into a functional piece... maybe put a basket on it and plant flowers in the basket... {cute!}

Wednesday

A little peek at our new book...

Its coming soon! We are heading into the layout stages of My Dad is my Hero
and anticipate the book to go to print by the end of the month!

Here are a few drawings samples to peek at from the book...
If you are interested in reserving your copy early the author, Lauren Wade
has set up a website for sales! www.laurenbwade.com

Its a gardening companion

Check out this amazing little bag... Its a gardening companion but I think it would be great as a book bag or travel bag as well... See how it folds down for you? And that little hole for the twine is perfecto.
Are you gardening this spring? I've been busy planning my attack on the lawn but I have yet to make any action... I think this weekend it the one!

Tuesday

Creative Reconstruction...

Wow, Look at this amazing HOUSE.
Someone reconstructed this beautiful church on the English country side into a home.
Aren't those stained glass windows beautiful?

Monday

Lauren Dicioccio

Is this blowing your mind yet?
Lauren Dicioccio uses embroidery thread in all of her work. These pieces are inspired from articles in The New York Times. I really love the tangle thread she keeps long...don't you?

Today in my imaginary closet...

Im feeling funky today and think this outfit would suit me just fine!
What do you think?
