Cookie Mania - Cookie of the Month!

What a delicious idea, three months of delectable
cookie-wiches. Tookies promotes this as a gift idea but
I am half enticed to go ahead and buy this for myself,
(my sweet tooth is screaming 'do it. do it')... and
with cookie names like; Sweet Sugary Lemon
Cookie-wich, Chocolate Gooey Brownie Cookie-wich
and Soft and Sweet Pastel Pretties Buttercreme
 Cookie-wich how could one resist?!

Tookies also offers cookie Jars like this Smores
Bar Cookie Jar... Which are pretty amazing.

Friday

New Mat... Brilliant DIY

So, Between the sandy/rock driveway that Dave
and I have and the fact that Dave is a Contractor and
has some pretty mucky shoes on a regular basis our
pretty blue door mat turn brown pretty fast. I have
been dreaming about a creative durable solution for a
while and it looks like I found it over at How Does She.
Look at the clever way she repurposed these old stakes!

This mat would look great on our front step and would
compliment our rustic decor perfectly. And as a bonus it
would get rid of some of the scrape wood in the back
that we have lying around from some of Dave's odd
jobs (double score)...now...
where to find those adorable frog boots...

love.

Spreading it around a little.

Thursday

Herb Infused Lemon Popsicles

Its gonna be a hot one today...
they are calling for a heat index of 110 today.
Holy Hotness.
The forecast across the nation appears the same-ish.
Here is a delicious nice frosty recipe
to help cool you down for the day.
Rosemary-Infused Lemonade Popsicles
makes six to eight 3 oz. popsicles
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
2 big sprigs rosemary, plus a few leaves for each popsicle
zest of 1 lemon
1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (10-12 lemons)
In a medium saucepan, combine the water and sugar and cook over medium heat. Once the mixture has boiled and the sugar dissolved, add the corn syrup, lemon zest and rosemary, and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow the rosemary to steep while the mixture cools, for at least 15 minutes.
Remove the rosemary sprigs. Combine 1 cup of the simple syrup and the lemon juice. Pour into popsicle molds along with a few whole rosemary leaves, freeze for 40 minutes, add the sticks, and then freeze completely for 3 hours or more.

Wednesday

Drinks anyone?

Don't let your drink dribbles get you down!
Protect your tables in style. Aren't these wooden
doily coasters from Uncommon so adorable?

I think they would make the perfect house warming
or hostess gift. Or the perfect "its Wednesday,
Im in a rut and need to get a cute package in the
mail soon gift" it suites all needs really.
I think they are positively adorable!

Tuesday

Meant•for•a•Moment had the pleasure of creating
these custom invitations for little cutie Lily's 2nd birthday.

Monday

Party time.

So One of my Best Friends is getting married...{!}
And I am the Maid of Honor!
That puts me in charge of putting together the
most amazing bachelorette party ever. I have
been racking my brain to figure how to make
that happen. This morning I came across these images.
She is a pretty low key girl... wouldn't it be AMAZING
if I used helium and found a way to cover every inch
of the ceiling in brilliantly colored balloons?!
She would adore it!
