Id love this graffiti in my city...
Sometimes I wish graffiti wasn't a punishable offense and I could scale the city walls and leave something like this to make people stop and grin. Some of these make me laugh thinking about the context. Like that Zebra... why? Hanging a Zebra's stripes... political statement? Social Commentary? Just for Fun? Regardless of purpose, I love these bits of creativity. And I will be graffitiing around Batimore in my Dreams tonight.

Romantic Graffiti
A friend of mine found this beautiful concrete note and I just had to grab it up. I am really drawn to the positiveness of this graffiti. A joyful leap from the general mischief marks we usually see on city concrete. It makes me wonder who this could be about... My mind wonders in such lovely places when it ponders romance... its like creating your own fairy tale.
Wishing you all a WONDERFUL weekend. Dave and I will be Sailing the first Regatta of our season this weekend. Say a little chant for the Auspice in first place! The weather is questionable but I am totally thrilled to get out there again, and I am pretty sure Dave is losing sleep over it!

My baby goat...
Today I met with a client to go over the final ink drafts for her children's book, written about her Petting Farm, Clark Elioak's Farm . It just so happened, there was a baby goat born 6 hours before I got there. Lucky Me. So of corse { for research purposes (wink wink) } I had to check it out. I spent about an hour walking around the farm with Martha, holding the adorable tiny baby goat. He was brilliantly white, considering what he had gone thru this morning. Nature is a beautiful creator. And in case you were wondering, I am pretty convinced it loved me as much as I loved him (right?).

Time Travel... Possible?
I giggled today when I saw this on Gizmodo. A picture of a time traveler!
Look at the man with the sunglasses. Judging by the crowds appearance, this photo was taken sometime in the 1940's... and then there is "Time Travel Man" seemingly straight from the FUTURE!
So I laughed, because after all, How funny! Wouldn't it be fun if time travel really did exist!

Lovely weekend wishes...
I bid you ado for another weekend { hooray for sunny days }. We will be working on the boat this weekend to get her ready to race next weekend. I will be refinishing some furniture, one of my favorite type of projects, and then we will head to a little party in the woods...

Everywhere I go this spring, I see little duck couples together. Courting each other? I'd like to think so.
Something cool, ice cool...
I discovered someone very clever this weekend... Look at this adirondack chair, its made of skis! They are the perfect shape to make this chair, I wonder why I haven't seen it before. Unfortunately I do not know the person who owned this chair, as I slyly photographed it out of their yard and they were not home, but who ever you are, BRAVO.

Pencil tip carvings...
Yes friends, its true... these carvings are made from the graphite at the tip of a pencil... and are just as teeny too. Incredibly impressive... the shoe looks so natural perched up there in the pencil you'd think some one placed it there... The artist, Dalton Ghetti has been carving teeny, tiny pencil tip sculptures for 25 years
Banana PEEL..
Matt Roussel's 3D print Banana is helping me crack a smile this Monday morning! I hope it does the same little trick for you. Looks like he had some funky banana peel shoes too. How was your weekend? Mine was spectacular! Dave and I ran a half Marathon, I transformed an old vintage window into a table and we got the boat out for the first time this year... It was a great restful weekend! Here hoping for a good week!
